Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience working as an estimator for a commercial general contractor. Candidate must be familiar with the Washington D.C./Baltimore Metro area market and maintain long term relationships with subcontractors. All Kalmia estimators must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional negotiating skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work in high pressure situations with tight deadlines is a must.

Project Management applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience running commercial construction projects. Applicant must have a successful portfolio of projects completed on-time and within budget as well as a working knowledge of the Washington D.C./Baltimore metro area market.

Ideal candidate must be pro-active, knowledgeable about the industry and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to handle high stress situations well and must have exceptional problem solving and mediation skills. Attention to detail is a must. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a commercial project supervisor.

Applicants must have pertinent experience. Carpenters must provide their own tools. Truck drivers must have all appropriate drivers licenses.

Ideal candidates for supervisor positions must have a minimum of 2 years experience working on Wal-Mart projects. Candidates must be willing to travel nationally and work night shifts. Ability to meet schedule and maintain a high level of organization is a must. Jobs are 6 week or 12 week contracts.
